a skill that can be taught.
In essence it requires good background knowledge,
clear thoughts, the ability to use language in a natural

The courses help you to provide information quickly,
accurately and succinctly. Training is carried out
in small groups, ideally no more than three delegates
per tutor and include:

Selling Skills
All middle and senior managers who take part in presentations
under pressure have to provide information quickly,
accurately and succinctly. Few achieve all three.
The Vertex short courses on effective sales and pitch
techniques are geared to dissemination and delivery
of the right information to achieve the best possible
hit every time. Each course is available to a maximum
of three people per tutor.
Our tutors are experienced trainers and some work
as financial journalists. They understand the way
the City, commerce, and industry works and can, in
addition, provide an insight into the way the British
media finds and uses material, so giving an access
point for you in the future.
In addition to the basic Presentation training, these
sessions include:
Preparation
and research
Analysis
of individual team strengths
Time
management within your presentation
Promoting
your messages singly or in a pitching group
Staying
power
Interpreting
and enhancing the message
Closing
This is a specific course for anyone who needs to
sell a concept, a strategy or a product. It helps
to develop a self analysis programme which can be
reworked in almost any forum. Once the course is completed,
we offer you a follow-up service, visiting you 'on-site'
as requested to give further advice in the real situation.

The Vertex Group provides a two-day residential course
on Influencing Skills and a more comprehensive three

responsibility for the decision-making process.

Intensification
of listening skills

By the end of the course the delegates understand
how to analyse business problems constructively, know
how to develop a full problem analysis by themselves,
be able to form a view without needing to know the
answers; understand the need to identify the motives
and fears of their own teams, be able to assess the
negatives and risks; reduce the need to impose authority

The Video
Your message on the small screen
All our production, camera crews and post production
teams are top professionals. We work only with Broadcast
quality equipment and all finished products are held
in our library on high quality 'master-tape' which
can be re-edited at a later date. There are a number
of different ways you may wish to access video:
as
your communications medium
as
a training film
an
information package
a
sales tool
for
general promotion
We can convert a document into a video - turning
the written word into moving pictures. Or your video
can be used alongside the printed word. A video or
film has many advantages.
It can be dedicated to one message or product
It
can be adapted as products and personnel change
It
is portable
Access
and understanding can be monitored
It
can be translated into any language
It
can be converted to any viewing format
It
can be used internationally
Video
production is as an efficient means of transferring
information.
And
it isn't as expensive as you think.
